My Love,
On this Mother’s Day, I want to put into words something I feel every day—but don’t say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you for being the heart of our home, the soul of our family, and the incredible woman who holds all of us together.
Raising one child is a journey. Raising four? That’s a mission only an incredible woman could take on. And yet, you do it—sometimes tired, sometimes overwhelmed—but always with love. You’ve built a world for our children where they are safe, heard, seen, and endlessly loved. And that’s something extraordinary.
I see how you stretch yourself thin for everyone—how you give your time, your energy, your heart, often putting yourself last. I see you doing the invisible things that make life run smoothly: the meals cooked, the scraped knees cleaned, the homework supervised, the tears wiped, the gifts given when words fall short. The millions of little things you do every day that might go unnoticed in the moment but are never truly unseen.
You are the keeper of routines and the place they run to for answers. You’re the teacher, the counselor, the nurse, the chef, the cheerleader—and somehow, still my best friend and partner in everything.
Even when the days are long and chaotic, when the house is noisy and our hands are full, you carry all of it with a love that is both powerful and thoughtful. You may wonder sometimes if you’re doing it right—but I promise you, our kids are growing up knowing what real love looks like because they see it in you every day.
I know there are days when you feel exhausted, where you question if you’re doing enough or being enough. Please believe me when I say: you are everything. You are exactly what this family needs. You are irreplaceable. You are deeply loved—not just today, but every single day.
And I want you to know that I see you—not just as their mother, but as the woman I fell in love with. The woman who still makes my heart feel like it did the first time I saw you. You are beautiful in a way that motherhood has only deepened. You inspire me with your strength, your heart, and your unwavering devotion to all of us.
So today, on Mother’s Day, I want to celebrate you. Not just the incredible mother you are—but the beautiful, powerful, endlessly loving woman who makes this life of ours so full.
Thank you for giving me the gift of this family. Thank you for the love you pour into each of our children. And thank you for walking beside me, even on the hardest days. I love you more than words can hold—and I always will.
With all my heart,
Paul Au
